Kruse & Muer in the Village

I dined here last month, absolutely loved it. Location-wise this is wonderful as it is near my job, and has lots of parking, plus shopping. Our server was fantastic, she explained the menu well and assisted us with our drink choices. I loved the food. Pasta was fantastic, as was my soup. Drinks were good, not too strong for a Monday night. Restaurant was packed, rightfully so as the service and menu are great, will definitely be back again soon!

Awful service. Went last night for a date night, made a reservation ahead of time, showed up early. Host and waitress stressed a 45 minute time limit on our table, as if they were doing a favor by seating us. For two people, we eat fast anyway, and we have worked in the food industry so we both understand how OpenTable and reservations can get mixed up. Regardless, the customer should never be asked to compromise their experience to benefit a different customer or the restaurant. No “thank you for cooperation”, no apologies for the rush on the meal. Never even got waitresses name- she just asked us if we knew they needed the table by 5:45. Food was good, but so is the food at the main street location which we frequent and love, and does not treat customers this way. Rushed on the bill delivery (we never asked for it and wanted to buy more as we had extra time, but did not get the opportunity). Incredibly rushed, stressed, ungrateful atmosphere. I understand serving two teens might seem pointless for a waitress and restaurant based on monetary value; this is not only incorrect, it is not an excuse to brush off and rush these customers out. Will not be returning.

The food here is great, the ribs came right off of the bone! Don't worry about the burnt bread, they replaced it! I got gazpacho which was really great, unfortunately the proportion compared to the amount it cost was abysmal. The bread they serve to every table is phenomenal and the 306 salad is one of the best salads I've ever had.

Alright. This place is a new FAVORITE! I am in love. First off, the bread. THE BREAD! It is so delicious. Period. You need it in your life. We also ordered the peach sangrias and it was another fantastic decision. As far as our meals, I ordered the Blackened Louie Sandwich with chicken and my best friend ordered the Chicken George Sandwich. My friend has eaten here multiple times and her family loves it, so she already knew she loved her sandwich. When I tasted my sandwich, I was again, in love. I honestly have to say it was the best chicken I have ever had at a restaurant. It was juicy and had spice and I almost wanted to order an entire other sandwich. Also, on the side we got the rice pilaf and I would also recommend getting that. So yes, as you can tell I love it here. The customer service was also great.
